This is not the direction that I want to go. I expected to be sub 250 lbs this week. Time to tighten the belt and get down to business. I will post daily updates to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Weekly Recap 11-28 to 12-4, 2011
Monday
11/28/11
Day Off
Tuesday
11/29/11
Trainer 1 Hour
Wednesday
11/30/11
Off. I meant to do the Incline. Weather and length of sunlight conspired against getting this done. The leason learned is to ride the trainer during the week when weather and daylight don't matter. Going to push the Inlcine to the weekend when I have more time to get it done.
Thursday
12/1/11
Pushed my 1.5 hour Incline workout to today and made it a trainer ride.
Friday
12/2/11
Off
Saturday
12/3/11
2 Hours on the trainer. It went far better than I expected. Long rides on the trainer can be mentally challenging. Made it through by watching parts of the 2009 Giro.
Sunday
12/4/11
1.5 hours on the trainer. Watched Sons of Anarchy season two on Netflix. Good stuff.
Total Hours: 6
Total Miles: 102.64 miles
Good week. It's the most time that I have spent on the trainer all year. I don't mind the trainer but I would rather ride outside. Learned that I need to push back the Incline until the weekend. It's too cold, icy, and dark to do it safely in the morning or after work.

Weight Summary
Last Monday: 254.1 lbs
Today: 255.1 lbs
+1 for the week. Not exactly how I wanted things to go. It's Ok though, with all of the eating and drinking with family and friends I expected quite a bit more in the gain area. Time to start a new week.

A great week of riding and eating. I ate WAY too much on Thanksgiving and I fear the scale in the morning. Not the best week to start to try and lose weight. No matter! All of the miles were on the mountain bike with the exception of the Incline. The Inlicne deservers a post all to its self and it will get it at a later date. The scale awaits in the morning.

Game On
I am tired of being overweight. I have been for years and I don't want to be any longer. According to my Withings body scale I weigh 254.1 lbs. My goal is to lose 50 pounds in five months. I plan on using Livestrong to track my daily calories and my Garmin 500 to track all of my activities. Hell of a way to start the holiday season. Whatever. I need to lose the weight and starting now is as good a time as any.
I really like what Anton Krupicka does with his weekly summary of his runs; I think that I am going to "borrow" his idea for myself.
I will reach my goal of losing 50 lbs, 204 lbs, by goal mid-April. I will post my weight every Monday and my weekly summary of activities to keep me on pace. This should be an amazing adventure over the next few months. Game On.
